Jeep Volunteer Hours!      Motorcycle Volunteer Hours!
Join in on the fun this Saturday, June 24th from 4 to 7 PM as we get together to
raise Volunteer Patrol funds for t-shirts, jerseys, and hats.  Ride or wheel all day, and
then drop by for a BBQ, events and a swap meet.  We are on the way home for the
westsiders!  All proceeds will support our 2006 volunteer crew.

How to get there: The event is located at a residential home, located approximately
12 miles west of Cle Elum.  From I-90, take exit 78 (Golf Course Road) and turn
south (go under the freeway and over the railroad tracks).  Go approximately 1 mile.
Golf Course Road ends.  Turn left (east) on Westside Road.  Go another mile.  Turn
right on Fowler Creek Road (this is a gravel road.  PLEASE DRIVE VERY SLOW
PAST THE FIRST FARM HOUSE!).  You will stay on Fowler Creek until it turns into
Pasco Road (DO NOT TURN ON TO THE F.S. ROAD, 4517!!! – Stay on Fowler).
Look for parking directions as you enter Pasco Road.

Events include: The McHaffie Putt-Putt Golf Invitational, Labrador Lake Fly Fishing
Contest (must bring your own fly rod), XR-80 Time Trial Turtle Race (bike provided),
and the TRAIL CREW CROSS CUT SAW contest.

Event Times – Golf Tournament, XR Turtle Race, and Fly Fishing Contest open

Getting stuck in a snow storm
is to be expected during early
spring.  This crew took time for
a photo op prior to tackling this
downed tree on Cle Elum

Club members from the Pacific

Memorial Day Weekend fixing,
cleaning and opening trail

Here they go over map

Coordinator, Tim Foss.
Trees and snow still block trail
access in the upper Taneum
and Manastash regions.  Here
riders take a photo opp. before
turning around.  TREAD Lightly
principles advocate turning
around when you hit the snow
line.  This tree helped to
enforce the rule.
