THIS WEEK IN CLE ELUM - December 24-31, 2007
WILDERNESS BOUNDARY INFORMATION
Cle Elum Ranger District's Groomers
Sno-Park Rules and Common Sense...
Sno-Park Compliance Report
The Table Mountain / Blewett  Pass routes are now being groomed.
Important - there is very little snow in some places.  Check out our
Groomer Report page for details.  As always check the
 Northwest
Avalanche Center for up to date analysis before heading out.
The Cle Elum Rangers patrol the wilderness boundaries frequently.  We
would like to thank this year's snowmobilers for respecting the
wilderness area and for knowing where the boundary is.  We have seen
very little evidence of poaching this season.  Thanks for staying
"in-bounds" and for representing your sport responsibly!

The NW Avalanche Center is reporting CONSIDERABLE Avalanche
conditions for Christmas Eve.  Backcountry travel is not recommended.
Please consult the NW Avalanche Center prior to heading out, and be
willing to change your travel plans if conditions warrant.  Be safe!

The good news - he's okay and
the sled weighs 100 pounds...
The bad news?  Caught on
film!  Salmon la Sac 3/4/6.
Send your sled photo!  Include
location.
Responsible riders always set the best examples!  You represent
everyone in your sport, and the non-motorized users judge your sport
when you do something illegal and/or stupid.  Respect all user-groups
and don't embarrass the majority of riders who are courteous and
responsible, by acting irresponsible.  Remember, ride slow and to the
right in Sno-Parks.  Also, slow down or stop when you encounter
non-motorized users. Set a good example by politely educating other
riders.
Last season, snowmobilers received the least number of Sno-Park pass
violations.  Let's keep the trend going!  The number one violation is
incomplete or unreadable Sno-Park passes.  Please make certain you fill
out your Sno-Park pass and display it clearly on the right side (driver's
side) inside windshield.  See you on the trail!  PS - Don't forget to tag-up
your sled with your current registration!
